Education Policy

Education is a foundation to improve the Thai citizens, who will in turn decide the future of the country. The Future Forward Party is aware of importance in solving and improving the national education to increase its quality, accessibility, equality and fairness to all people. All sectors must understand the goals and visions of education through participation process, in order to allow the public to access education. By use of legal measures, personnel and budgets, the state will manage basic quality education for the public without any additional cost, with a consideration on the students and education personnel quality of life at heart.

The Future Forward Party supports all sectors to participate in improving the education system quality, both inside and outside education institutions, in accordance with context of each local region. Local administrative organizations will be encouraged to have independence and efficiency in managing education, organize learning centers, learning network and a diverse information technology in their respective areas, in accordance with needs, expertise and interests of all ages. Respect for way of life, faiths and local cultures will be promoted, along with teaching of life skills, experience and rational thoughts for the public to meet the rapid changes of modern society.

Furthermore, the Future Forward Party is committing to demonstrating the importance of those related to education system in their shared responsibility and decision-making in administration of education, through distribution of power to local administrative organizations and promotion of cooperation with other sector in society related to education. The party will also introduce a large scale Open Big Data accessible to all users, in which the information is beneficial to participation and transparency scrutiny.

The party prioritizes implementation of education policies based on democratic principles, which support learners and education personnel to form networks, organizations, councils and unions so they can work independently and stand up tp protect basic rights of their members, turning the national education into a system of public education for the people as individuals, members of local communities, national citizens and global citizens.
