Environment and Natural Resources policy

The Future Forward Party prioritizes developing the country with a consideration on sustainable use of natural resources and environment, based on protection and preservation of the environment, public participation, and efficiency. The Future Forward Party will push for measures to protect and preserve the environment through many measures, such as legal means, taxation, subsidy and incentives, along with publicity campaigns.

Furthermore, the Future Forward Party believes that the country’s development involved the use of natural resource without participation in decision making from the local communities resulting in unfair and unsustainable access to natural resources. The Future Forward Party aims to support community rights principles to solve these issues. The party believes the method to promote sustainable use of natural resource is to bring affected communities and all stakeholders into decision-making process.

The Future Forward Party aims to reform land use. The land is currently administered under numerous laws and agencies, causing delays and inefficiency in use of land for economic development, production and preservation. Therefore, the Future Forward Party will push for comprehensive land reforms for efficiency and fairness.

The Future Forward Party seeks to push for legal protection of animal welfare and optimum enforcement of the laws.
