A fellow classmate to Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, leader of the Future Forward Party, Ronnawit has a passion for politics since his university days as an engineering student. He spent more than a decade in the Information Technology and Telecommunications sector. Ronnawit is now the owner of Perceptions Group, a Thai massage house whose services is performed by those with impaired sights. His business is amongst the things of which he is most proud. His experiences and a vision for change, Ronnawit joins the Future Forward party as its Deputy Leader.

Profile

Ronnawit Lorlertsoonthorn, was born June 5, 1979 in Chiang Mai province, Thailand.

He studied a double degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, at Thammasat University and University of Nottingham. It was at the time of his college days when he met Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit. After graduation in 2001, Ronnawit returned to the United Kingdom for his Master of Science degree in Communications and Signal Processing at Imperial College London.

Ronnawit came back to Thailand and worked in Information Technology and Telecommunications at leading firms throughout the decade. Working as a Business Developer, finding innovative solutions and tackling challenges in order to create positive changes to society is the drive behind Ronnawit’s success.

Why Future Forward

Ronnawit believes that moving the country forward is a duty of all Thai citizens, not just a handful of politicians. Every single person can have a voice in leading the future for the country. He shares this vision with Future Forward; to lead politics in Thailand into a new direction, which allows for engagement with people from all of society, and to pave the path to return the rights, freedom, power and justice to the people and for the people.

After receiving the invitation from Thanathorn, his former classmate, Ronnawit decided to join the Future Forward on its journey to build a future for Thailand that he envisioned.

Fun Fact

During his free time, Ronnawit enjoys reading inspiring biographies and learning about new investments and technologies. He is a fan of the Star Wars saga, superhero films and animations. He enjoys rock music and has football as his favourite sport. Drawing stickers is also one of his hobbies, but most importantly he never forgets to spare free time to spend with friends.
